BUZZ MORNINGS is expanding to 10 locations this Fall in an effort to better serve the needs of our current and future customers. As we enter our 12th year of before school training, BUZZ MORNINGS will introduce the most comprehensive morning training curriculum taught by experienced professionals in a local rink near you. This small group training has proved extremely popular over the years and very beneficial for the committed hockey player who is seeking enhanced stick handling, game situation development and skating instruction.
This added ice time will dramatically improve each player's skating technique by breaking the stride down to it's smallest element and focusing on better balance and edge control.
Stickhandling will be a major component of every session. In addition to teaching the different techniques and moves associated with stickhandling, we will provide ample practice to be able to apply those moves in game situations. We also focus on puck protection in open ice and along the boards, passing and receiving, angling, control turns, transition and goal scoring.
You can register for mornings as an individual. We will have a maximum of two groups of up to 10 skaters in a group. There will be one coach for each group of 10 skaters. The individual group will have their time split in half, with half of the ice time dedicated solely to stickhandling and skills with pucks such as puck protection, passing, and goal scoring. The other half of the training will focus primarily on skating technique, balance, edge control, turns and transition. Each skating group will be working weekly with each coach over the course of the 12 week session.
1 session will run for twelve weeks (some locations will be ten weeks). A session is comprised of twelve (ten in some locations) 45-minute ice times 1 day per week before school. There will be two seasons Fall/Winter will include the first twelve weeks and Winter/Spring will consist of the final twelve weeks.
The individual cost per session will slightly fluctuate per location based on length of session and the cost for the ice.
