We build self-esteem and confidence by teaching our players to master all of the fundamental hockey skills!

What makes the difference between positive experiences for a skater versus a negative one? Quite simply, it is the staff. At Buzzhockey we have assembled the most experienced and professional group of teachers. We care about each skater as an individual, and we take great pride in helping him or her reach new levels of ability.

There are many hockey schools with impressive coaching staffs. What is unique to Buzzhockey is the fact that most of the coaches teaching went through the Buzzhockey program as skaters. They understand what the kids are going through, share the compassion and mission of the program, and know the benefits offered to each skater. We take the time to get to know each individual and figure out how to push each skater to the next level.

As a student of the game, Buzz was discouraged by the lack of fundamental skills taught at the youth levels of hockey. As a result, Buzzhockey was formed and has grown to a training program with over 1,000 annual participants training at six Twin Cities arenas. The growth of the program is directly related to the emphasis on  skills combined with sprint interval concepts to increase strength and speed.
